The Spetsmash 2021 exhibition for the Russian agricultural and road-building machinery opened in Ulan Bator (Mongolia) today. It is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO on the instructions of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the active support of the Rosspetsmash Association.

20 Russian enterprises are among the exhibitors: Rostselmash, Petersburg Tractor Plant (Kirovets), Pegas-Agro, BONUM, Voronezh Agromash Plant, Tractor (Uralets), Melinvest, Merkator Holding, Tatagrokhimservis and others. 

On an area of more than 1,500 square metres, Mongolian visitors will be able to see new high-tech developments and popular models of agricultural tractors, seeding systems, sprayers, balers, grain throwers and other agricultural machinery. There will also be demonstrations of municipal road cleaning equipment, equipment for the production of construction and road repair materials, and much more.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Sainbuyangiin Amarsaikhan, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Chairman of the Mongolian part of the Russian-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, Iskander Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia, Luvsangiin Haltar, Minister of Transport and Roads of Mongolia, Gombodorjiin Batsuur, Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, Maria Elkina, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Construction Machinery of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. 

At the end of the opening ceremony, the officials were introduced to the exhibition stands. 

The Russian machinery exhibition was an important event for Mongolian government agencies and the business community. Already in its first hours of operation the exhibition was visited by more than 200 people. The Spetsmash exhibition is now in active operation. Meetings have been held with representatives of several Mongolian regions. Mongolian distributors of specialised machinery, leasing and other agribusiness companies are getting to know the machinery on display and are discussing the terms of cooperation with the Russian exhibitors. 

A series of business events and important meetings are planned as part of the exhibition, including the panel Russia and Mongolia: Development of Cooperation in Agriculture and Road Construction, a meeting on the participation of Russian financial institutions in implementing foreign trade projects for the supply of machinery and equipment to the needs of the Mongolian agribusiness, and a series of working meetings and negotiations. 

The exhibition will continue its work on 28 September.
