Our trade shows

Expocentre is an organiser of the largest international trade shows in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe. The company has run over 6,000 shows throughout its 65 years of history.

Expocentre’s trade shows promote new trademarks, advanced scientific developments and technology to the Russian national market, and provide favourable conditions to establish business contacts, present products and study innovations. These assemblies bring together business, trade and scientific leaders from over 100 countries.

Expocentre’s event program includes the company’s own projects and hosted trade shows held at Expocentre Fairgrounds by other national and foreign exhibition organisers.


Own brands

Most projects that carry a logo of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, as a label of approval include Khimia (chemical industry), Zdravookhraneniye (health care), Prodexpo (foodstuffs and beverages), Mebel (furniture), Lesdrevmash (timber/logging industry), Metalloobrabotka (metalworking), Technoforum (construction materials processing), Agroprodmash (agriculture and food processing), Sviaz (telecommunications), Elektro (electric industry), Inlegmash (textile and garment industry), Mir Stekla (glass industry), Navitech (navigation systems, technologies and services), Neftegaz (oil and gas), Mir Detstva (goods for children), Obuv. Exhibitions of Expocentre are also approved by RUEF, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, and proudly carry the RUEF logo.

When arranging a plan of its own trade shows and conventions, Expocentre specifically focuses on this country’s priority economic development areas, which are high-tech manufacturing, development of innovations, export diversification, and cooperation with new markets.

All own trade shows of Expocentre are supported by Russian federal executive authorities and national industry associations. Most of these shows are also held under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Hosted trade shows


Hosted trade shows running at Expocentre Fairgrounds are organised by leading national and foreign exhibition companies that include BolognaFiere S.p.A. (Italy), Messe Frankfurt (Germany), Turkel Fair Org.(Turkey), and such Russian companies and associations as Euroexpo, the Russian Handicraft and Art Association, Messe Frankfurt RUS, ITEMF Expo, EMTG, Mir-Expo, the Union of Moscow Architects, the Union of Architects of Russia etc. The most well-known hosted shows include MIMS Automechanika Moscow, CPM. Collection Premier Moscow, Interplastika, Upakovka, Metallurgy-Litmash, Interlight Moscow Powered by Light + Building, and Modern Bakery Moscow, Composite-Expo/ Polyurethanex, BUYBRAND Expo, Build School.

Annually Expocentre Fairgrounds plays host to national exhibitions. The list of countries that have showcased their achievements over the last years comprises China, Germany, India, Italy.

Management of national stands and pavilions in other countries

Expocentre arranges group stands and pavilions of Russian companies at trade shows and fairs held in Russia and abroad such as the Paris Furniture Salon, international exhibitions and fairs in Dubai (the UAE), Thessaloniki (Greece), Izmir (Turkey), the International Fair of High Technologies in San Paolo (Brazil), the International Specialized Medical Exhibition in Düsseldorf (Germany), the International Engineering Fair in Brno (Czechia), ITF in Plovdiv (Bulgaria), FIA in Lisbon (Portugal), and Laser. World of Photonics in Munich (Germany). Expocentre manages Russian group stands and national pavilions at exhibitions in Hungary, Egypt, India, South Korea, Panama, Poland, Syria, Croatia, Czechia and other countries.

Expocentre has repeatedly organised the Russian national pavilion at FIHAV in Habana (Cuba), the China International Fair for Investment and Trade, CIF CHINA, the China International Agricultural Trade Fair, and the China International Software and Information Service Fair. The company also manages Russian group stands at the KIND+JUGEND 2017 in Cologne (Germany), GITEX 2017 in Dubai (the UAE), and Intergift 2017 in Madrid (Spain), the IMM Cologne International Furniture and Interiors Fair 2018 (Cologne, Germany), the OVC Expo 2018 China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (Wuhan, China), the Ambiente 2019 International Consumer Goods Trade Fair (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), LASER World of PHOTONICS 2019 (Munich, Germany), UzAgroExpo 2022 (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), Russian-Azerbaijani Field Day 2022 (Baku, Azerbaijan), INNOPROM 2022 (Ekaterinburg, Russia), Caspian Oil & Gas 2023 (Baku, Azerbaijan), Spetsmash – Mongolia 2023 (Darkhan, Mongolia), Aviation Forum 2023 (St Petersburg, Russia), Prodexpo 2023» (Moscow, Russia) and others.

A single-window system established at Expocentre Fairgrounds allows booking required services at one place within the shortest time possible.

Expocentre makes a wide use of advanced exhibition and marketing technologies, provides an extensive range of professional solutions to organise and hold trade shows of any scale, and offers most convenient networking and B2B environment.

It is clearly beneficial for exhibitors to attend workshops on effective exhibiting to maximise the power of exhibitions.

Exhibitors and professional visitors actively use the online MatchMaking System to schedule appointments with their key prospects in the run up to the event, and arrange specific meeting times and places to maximise their day at the exhibition.

Online pre-registration is available at Expocentre’s website for professional visitors. Pre-registered visitors get tickets emailed to them in advance of the event. The ticket allows everyday admittance to a trade show.

Expocentre Fairgrounds has free Wi-Fi zones. Expocentre's own trade shows are for professional visitors only. Registration is obligatory.
