Today, the Day of Bashkiria took place at MedTravelExpo. Medical Clinics, Health and Spa Resorts, the International Exhibition for Medical and Wellness Services, Health Improvement and Medical Treatment in Russia and abroad, held within Russian Health Care Week at Expocentre Fairgrounds. It was organised by the Resorts of Bashkortostan Association in partnership with EXPOCENTRE AO. 

Konstantin Frolov, Head of the Resorts of Bashkortostan Association, as well as directors of major health resorts in Bashkortostan, addressed the guests and participants of the event. In their presentations, they talked about the advantages, features and opportunities of the republic's health centres and resorts. 

The cultural programme of the Day of Bashkiria was represented by performances by the Bashkirsky Kolorit ensemble with national dances and playing of folk instruments, as well as a tasting of Bashkir honey and koumiss.   In the final part, representatives of the health resort complex were awarded certificates and gifts "For Contribution to the Development of Sanatoriums and the Health and Spa Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan".
