The 4^th Forum on Food Processing Machinery 2020 has been held within Agroprodmash 2020. The Forum was organised by the Rosspetsmash Association and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade

Konstantin Babkin, president of the Rosspetsmash Association, greeted the audience via video. "It is very important that in this difficult situation we found an opportunity to gather to discuss our common problems," he said.

Maria Yolkina, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Construction Engineering of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, spoke about the prospects of food engineering. She stressed that "the main goal is to triple the output of food engineering products by 2030 and increase the share of domestic producers in the Russian market up to at least 60%".

The Forum participants considered a number of pressing issues for the industry. In particular, how to maintain production and development rates in the context of global changes? How has the pandemic changed consumer behavior? How to prepare your company to work in a pulsating market? 

The representative of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade paid special attention to the state support and distribution of subsidies to domestic food industry enterprises. Maria Yolkina held a dialogue session, where she answered the questions of manufacturers in detail.
