The 11^th International Trade Fair for Furniture Production Technologies, Woodworking Machinery, Tools, Fittings, Accessories, Raw Materials and Products, IndiaWood 2020, ran at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bangalore, India, from February 27 through March 2, 2020. EXPOCENTRE AO arranged a group stand of Russian companies at the instruction of Russian Export Center AO.

The Russian showcase was organised with assistance of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia and the Russian trade office in India to promote Russian export added value wood products on foreign markets.

Russian participants included RO Timber (Perm), Sveza-Les (Saint-Petersburg), Tops House (Moscow), Segezha (Petrozavodsk), and Ecostroyproject (Moscow). They showcased wood products (including plywood and other types of wooden boards, LVL, materials for wooden house construction, packaging paper, etc.) for export to India and other countries of South Asia.

Russian companies also took part in various events, which was covered by relevant Indian media outlets.

Russian manufacturers believe that participation in Indian trade shows is a great platform for generation of contacts with the business community of India.

The next Indian wood related show where Russian companies are going to take part is the DELHIWOOD International Trade Fair for Furniture Production Technologies, Woodworking Machinery, Tools, Fittings, Accessories, Raw Materials and Products, which will be held in Greater Noida, India, on March 4–8, 2021.
