The Rusweld 2020 programme of supporting events gives participants the opportunity to consider current professional issues and share the latest industry developments.

Within the supporting programme the Conference on Industrial Welding and Additive Manufacturing, organised by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation, RPA CNIITMASH AO, Atomenergomash Group and the Rosatom State Corporation with the assistance of EXPOCENTRE AO was held. The conference was moderated by Director of RPA CNIITMASH AO Yury Volobuev.

The professionals considered specific problems of welding technologies, shared their experience and discussed the prospects of welding application for manufacturing of critical equipment of the machine-building industry.

Simultaneously with the Panel on Welding as Part of Digital Manufacturing which was opened by Vice-Rector for cooperation with industrial partners and development of Stankin Moscow State University of Technology Dmitry Nikitin, issues of welding in digital production were considered. The panel was moderated by Stanislav Konov, Head of ESAB's Educational Organisations Cooperation Division.
