Conference programme
The Conference on Welding in Russia. Challenges and Solutions was organised by NAKS – the National Agency of Welding Control and EXPOCENTRE AO on September 10. The first session was devoted to normative and legal regulation of welding and non-destructive testing, the National Qualification System in Welding and Control, and interstate and national standardisation in welding and related processes. Andrey Prilutsky, NAKS Director General, moderated the event.
RSNTTD – the Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics once again organised the Russian Competition for Non-Destructive Testing – Defectoscopist 2024.
The 3rd Conference on Robotics Technology in Machine Building took place on September 11. Its panel on comprehensive solutions for robotisation of production processes covered the topics of approaches and techniques of cost-effective robotisation, strengthening the competence of consumers to work with robotic complexes, the segments of production most dependent on imported manufacturers, and much more.
A key feature and advantage of Rusweld has always been the opportunity to test welding equipment on your own. This year, the show featured master classes for exhibitors and visitors on all exhibition days. Experts of the Russian Welders Team demonstrated how to work with different equipment and materials such as argon arc welding of stainless steel pipes, assembly and welding of structural steel elements using controlled drop transfer using Russian-made equipment, laser welding of stainless steel, etc.
Rusweld continues to grow and reach new highs. We sincerely hope that all exhibitors and visitors met their objectives and even exceeded their plans!
We are looking forward to seeing you at Rusweld 2025!
