The 32nd edition of the International Exhibition for Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials

Prodexpo is a major international exhibition for food, beverages and food raw materials that has defined strategic development trends of the food sector of the Russian economy for the last 30 years. The show plays an important role in ensuring the country's food security and is a key platform for effective interaction between manufacturers and suppliers of food and beverages with buyers of federal and regional retail chains, independent retailers, marketplaces, cafes, restaurants, catering chains, and government representatives.

“Prodexpo has long been more than just an exhibition. It is a food platform where contracts worth billions of roubles are concluded every day. More than 70,000 buyers, representatives of retail, food companies, hoteliers and restaurateurs are registered at the exhibition. The issues of product quality and safety, import substitution and support for local production are discussed here, which directly affects this country's supply of high-quality and affordable products.”

International cooperation
An important event was the visit of a delegation from the Republic of Belarus to the exhibition. Yuri Shuleyko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Rogozhnik, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus for Belarus' Activities within the Union State and Relations with Russia – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, visited the national pavilion of the Republic of Belarus. Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE, welcomed the delegation, noting that the visit of the Belarusian colleagues became an additional incentive to strengthen cooperation ties, promote Belarusian products in the Russian market, and expand export supplies.
The exhibition had a national pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It displayed a wide range of products, including confectionery, tomato paste, tinned products, olives, sauces, jams, and beverages.
Later, Maxim Fateev held negotiations with Mr Sodeif Beikzadeh, General Director at the Iran International Exhibitions Company. According to Maxim Fateev, Iran traditionally participates in Prodexpo with a national pavilion, and this year 10 Iranian companies were presenting their products.
Key product sectors at Prodexpo 2025
Prodexpo 2025 offered a wide range of products from basic everyday foods and drinks to exquisite delicacies, as well as halal, organic, sports, functional food, products for a healthy lifestyle, and exotic products.
• Meat and meat products. Cooked meats. Poultry, eggs. More than 110 companies from Russia and other countries presented a variety of chilled, frozen and ready-to-cook meat products.
• Dairy products. Cheese. More than 160 companies showcased a variety of dairy products, including fermented dairy products and cheeses, which included artisan ones.
• Fish and seafood. There was a wide range of chilled, frozen, salted and smoked fish, seafood, and caviar.
• Confectionery. Snacks. Nuts. Dried fruit. The largest showroom, which presented both traditional and innovative products.
• Vegetable fats. Products from Russia and other countries included sunflower oils, olive oils, and popular mixes.
• Healthy nutrition, sport nutrition and functional food. The display offered a wide range of products for followers of healthy lifestyle and nutrition, and took into account all current trends.
• Prodexpo Organic. Certified organic products.
• Tea and coffee. From classics to exclusive varieties.
• Prodexpo Wine. Wines and spirits.
• Beer and low alcohol. Traditional brews and craft beers.
The exhibition gave the participants every opportunity not only to familiarise themselves with the latest trends, but also to generate business leads for further cooperation.

High ROI and conference programme
Prodexpo has once again proved to be a perfect platform for concluding favourable contracts, studying the market, and exchanging experience. Its conference programme included

· conferences and panels on product quality and safety
· professional competitions confirming the high quality of the exhibited goods
The participants discussed innovative technologies, new sales channels, and strategies to strengthen Russia's food security, which is especially relevant in the current environment.
One of the key factors in the commercial efficiency of Prodexpo 2025 was the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™, where 3,468 preliminary contracts worth over 113 billion roubles were concluded.
Results and prospects
Prodexpo 2025 once again proved its leading role in shaping strategic solutions for Russia's food industry. The event became a platform for signing contracts worth billions of roubles, establishing new business ties, and exchanging experience between participants from Russia and other countries. The support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, as well as the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, testify to the importance of the show for the further development of the industry.
The participants spoke about high commercial returns and great opportunities for expanding business relations. Prodexpo 2025 demonstrated the potential for further growth and strengthening of international cooperation.
