EXPOCENTRE has opened the International Exhibition and Forum for Energy Saving, Green Energy and Electric Vehicles – RENWEX 2024. The show is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  

The show has grown in terms of space and the number of exhibitors. This year's showcase covers an area of 2,500 net square metres. It presents technologies and equipment for renewable energy, methods and solutions for efficient energy consumption, electric transport and charging infrastructure, and services of servicing companies for installation, adjustment and maintenance of such equipment.

Leading companies introduce the latest technological trends and the best products and solutions. More than 100 companies from 5 federal districts and 15 regions of Russia take part in RENWEX 2024.

The extensive conference programme reflects all major trends of the modern RES and electromobility market. The three-day forum will feature events with the participation of leading experts in the field of sustainable development, alternative energy, representatives of authorities, energy companies, business unions and associations, respected research organisations, and key media. Each day of the programme is dedicated to different aspects: Green Technologies and Energy Efficiency, Electric Transport and Infrastructure Development, and Development of Microgeneration in Russia.

At the official opening ceremony, Deputy Director General Sergey Selivanov noted that this year the exhibition and forum celebrate their first 5^th anniversary.

“Over the years, the show has established itself as a high-quality and effective business platform. It has become a leading event in the field of energy-saving technologies, renewable energy, electric transport and charging infrastructure in Russia. It is worth noting that from year to year there is an increase in new companies coming as exhibitors. In 2024, about 85 companies (about 65 Chinese and 20 Russian) are participating for the first time, which is about 66 per cent of the total number of exhibitors,” said Sergey Selivanov.

The official opening ceremony was attended by representatives of relevant ministries, industry associations and energy business.

RENWEX 2024 is open till June 20.
