The 24th International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry – Metalloobrabotka 2024 opens at EXPOCENTRE on 20 May.
The trade show with a net area of over 50,000 sq. m. occupies all pavilions of EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds and open-air sites. More than 1,400 companies from seven countries – China, India, Italy, Belarus, South Korea, Russia and Turkiye – are taking part in Metalloobrabotka 2024. Among the exhibitors, there are 772 Russian companies: manufacturers and suppliers of machine tool products.
Compared to last year, the exhibition has grown by 30% in terms of the number of exhibitors and 25% in terms of the exhibition space. The thematic sections cover all aspects of machine tool building and metalworking. They present new-generation intelligent machine tool systems, advanced metal-cutting machinery, inspection and measuring equipment, tooling and components, new engineering developments, the latest software and much more. Thanks to EXPOCENTRE’s unique technical capabilities, industry professionals will see and evaluate equipment in action, including energy-intensive and large-sized machine tools.
The trade show is accompanied by an extensive conference programme. It opens with a plenary session of the International Trade and Industrial Congress on Investments. Development. Cooperation organised by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and EXPOCENTRE AO. Some sessions will be devoted to interregional cooperation and engineering, international industrial cooperation in the development of the NGV market, investments in Russia’s technological development, problems of development and competitiveness of the Russian industry under current conditions, as well as the Subcontract and Engineering Exchange, which has become a traditional platform for finding industrial cooperation partners.
The organisers define the main objective of the Congress as establishing a regular professional platform for summarising and sharing successful experience of global industrial cooperation and advanced technological development in Russian regions and EAEU and BRICS countries, identifying key problems of the country’s economic development and working out ways to solve them. The Congress will be attended by heads of chambers of commerce and industry, leading industry associations and enterprises from Russian regions and EAEU countries, as well as representatives of government authorities.
