The Mebel 2021 exhibition opened today at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. More than 600 companies from 17 countries are presenting new products in six EXPOCENTRE’s pavilions on a total area of more than 70,000 sq. m. A national exposition will be presented by Uzbekistan's furniture manufacturers. Special attention will be given to the group stands of the companies from Russia's regions. This year, 19 regions are financing the participation of their manufacturers in the exhibition.
EXPOCENTRE AO organises the exhibition with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibition is conveniently structured according to its product sectors. The 10 themed salons combine all segments of the furniture industry. For example, Halls 3 and 7 showcases components, fittings and equipment for furniture production, while two halls of Pavilion 8 are the area of furniture for comfortable sleep, mattresses and fillings. Hall 3 of Pavilion 8 presents office and specialised furniture. Traditionally, residential furniture, upholstered furniture, kitchen furniture are presented on a large scale, and Pavilions 1, 2 and Forum offer the opportunity to talk to manufacturers and see new products.
Special product sectors of the exhibition highlight offerings from companies in franchising, modern digital technology for furniture production and retail.
The Mebel 2021 show takes place offline, in the usual format of friendly conversation, business atmosphere and busy meetings. A small part of the conference programme is streamed online.

Tatiana Gigel called the furniture industry the driver of development of the timber sector. "The Mebel exhibition, which has maintained undying interest for more than thirty years, is worthy of respect," she said.
Maxim Fateev believes that the cream of the furniture industry in Russia and many foreign countries gathered at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds today. That is why he thanked those companies which found the strength, opportunities and means to show their best products at the Mebel 2021 trade show.
