The 16th edition of the international exhibition for fabrics and textile materials – Interfabric 2024. Autumn – has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow. The show is organised by LegPromMedia with the support of the Russian Union of Textile Industry Enterprises (Souzlegprom), the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The show’s floor space is more than 30,000 square metres. About 1,000 leading Russian and foreign companies present their products this year. The exhibitors include manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics, textile materials, knitted fabrics, components, accessories, technical textiles and nonwovens. In total, about 2,000 brands from 40 regions of Russia and 12 countries are represented this year. There are also national pavilions of Belarus, China, India, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan.
There will be specialised salons called TextilePrint, the Salon of Accessories, and the Salon of Technical Textiles. The regular Textile Expert Forum is another important event whose main purpose is to inform industry professionals about current trends in style and design in textile collections of the coming season. The forum will include an award ceremony for the winners of the Interfabric Awards.
The 2nd exhibition for home textiles and interior solutions – Textile & Home 2024. Autumn – will take place simultaneously with Interfabric 2024. Autumn. This show will bring together manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retail suppliers of home textiles.
The shows are accompanied by a three-day conference programme that will offer more than 90 sessions, lectures and workshops from leading industry experts. The opening plenary session on the systemic cooperation of textile goods manufacturers from the CIS and SCO member states in the environment of global economic restructuring is dedicated to the development of textile and garment industry and industrial cooperation, leasing, international cooperation, as well as the development of the Industry Development Strategy until 2035.
The shows are open until September 12.
