The 23th edition of the Exhibition and Fair of Folk Arts and Crafts – Firebird. Autumn 2024 – has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow. The fair is organised by the Handicraft Center and the Russian Handicraft and Art Association with the support of the Union of Folk Arts and Crafts. Its co-organiser is EXPOCENTRE AO.

More than 500 exhibitors from 50 regions of Russia are taking part in the show. They include world-famous craft enterprises, honoured artists and masters working individually, craftsmen, creative associations, as well as group stands of the Republics of Bashkortostan, Buryatia and Crimea, Chechen and Chuvash Republics, Krasnoyarsk and Stavropol Territories, and Arkhangelsk, Kostroma, Kursk and Vologda Regions. This year’s newcomer is a group stand of the Tambov Region.

Visitors will see the richest palette of products of Russian folk arts and crafts brought together by Firebird. They include traditional, modern and original products of craftsmen, artists and designers. This time, the organisers offer a tour around the show to help its participants learn about folk arts and crafts and their tourism potential.

The show is open until October 6.
