A government delegation of Tianjin, the fourth largest city of China, visited Expocentre Fairgrounds on April 18, 2018.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects of cooperation in the exhibition sector, including cross participation in international trade shows held at Expocentre Fairgrounds and the Tianjin exhibition centre.

The delegation was headed by Deputy Secretary General of the People’s Government of the City of Tianjin. He highlighted the importance of participation in trade shows for development of bilateral relations and increase of turnover between the countries, and invited Expocentre to take part in the Tianjin international mining forum and trade show in October of 2018. 

In its turn, the Chinese delegation saw the opportunities and facilities offered by Expocentre to promote Chinese goods in the Russian market via participation in Zdravookhraneniye (health care), Metalloobrabotka (metalworking), Khimia (chemistry), Sviaz (telecom) and other trade shows which suit the economic interests of the region.

The parties agreed to maintain the contact.
