The International Medical Tourism Workshop has taken place within Russian Health Care Week 2022. The event is organised by the Association of Medical Tourism and Export of Medical Services and EXPOCENTRE AO.

The International Medical Tourism Workshop with foreign medical tourism agencies is one of the key events at MedTravelExpo. It is a two-day B2B networking programme between Russian clinics and health resorts on the one hand, and foreign medical tourism agencies that are interested in sending patients for treatment, recovery and rehabilitation to the Russian Federation on the other. The aim of the workshop is to ensure direct contacts between Russian medical services export market participants and leading foreign buyers.

More than ten medical tourism agencies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iraq, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participate in the B2B meetings. Their Russian counterparts have access to detailed profiles of the buyers, the opportunity to sign cooperation agreements, advisory support from the Medical Tourism and Medical Services Export Association, and feedback from the agencies on the prospects for further cooperation.
