The international video conference was devoted to the Global Exhibitions Day. GED19 is celebrated on the 5^th of June this year. Expocentre Director General Sergey Bednov took part in the conference and warmly congratulated his colleagues on their professional day.

"All industry professionals look upon trade shows as their mission in life and a challenging job," he said. "Celebrating the Global Exhibitions Day, we consolidate our industry globally and highlight the importance of exhibitions for the present-day community. Exhibitions promote trade, innovations and international cooperation and, above all, bring people together in face-to-face communication."

Sergey Bednov emphasized that Expocentre celebrated the 60th anniversary in 2019. "This is a remarkable date in our history. For us the Global Exhibitions Day is a special day uniting all our big exhibition family," he added.

The participants in video conference were CEOs of leading international and national trade show associations including the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.
