The parties have discussed the prospects for cooperation between Russian and Italian exhibition companies. Expocentre and BolognaFiere are strategic partners; both companies are aimed at long-term cooperation, said President of BolognaFiere Gianpiero Calzolari and General Director of Expocentre Sergey Bednov.

"We are grateful for cooperation in the joint projects we have already implemented," pointed out Gianpiero Calzolari. "At the same time we would like to expand our business and provide a basis for further projects."

Gianpiero Calzolari told about an extensive renovation of the BolognaFiere exhibition center. Thus, in the coming years it is planned to upgrade about 60% of the exhibit space.

"Carrying out a major reconstruction without interruption in organization of trade fairs earns admiration," said Expocentre General Director Sergey Bednov. He told about Expocentre's key trade shows including new projects such as RosBuild and MedTravelExpo. "There are a lot of areas in which we could expand our collaboration," emphasized Sergey Bednov.

BolognaFiere General Director Antonio Bruzzone, in his turn, showed his interest in collaboration with Expocentre in different areas including trade shows devoted to construction, health care, and oil and gas industries.
