VietFood & Beverage 2024, an international food and beverage exhibition, has started its work in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). The exhibition features a national pavilion Made in Russia with the participation of 24 Russian producers. The Russian Export Center organises the pavilion’s showcase. EXPOCENTRE is its operator.

VietFood & Beverage has been held since 1996. It is one of the most significant events in Southeast Asia and covers all areas from agricultural production to packaging and processing. More than 500 exhibitors from 22 countries from Europe, Asia, America and Australia are taking part in the show. It is expected to be visited by more than 25 thousand industry professionals, including distributors, retailers and representatives of the restaurant business.

Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Pham Khanh Phong Lan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Food Security Department, Le Viet Binh, representative of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Lee Kim Chi, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Food and Grocery Association, Nguyen Ngoc Sang, Chairman of the Vietnam Packaging Association, and other officials visited the Made in Russia pavilion.

Visitors to the exhibition can appreciate Russian sausages, frozen foods, grilling products, chicken meat and pork at the stands of Miratorg and Cherkizovo. Caviar and sea delicacies, as well as various fish products can be tasted at the stands of Lunskoye Seas, Stimul and Dr. Elis. Fresh cheeses, butter and lactose-free butter are demonstrated by Unagrande Company. Such major players as Baltika Brewery Company and Ladoga Group represent Russian alcoholic beverages. At the stands of Orimi and Royal Cane, visitors will be offered tea, coffee, syrups and other beverages. Maxifood, Top Grain, Eley Trade, Azovsky Khlib and LKHP Kirov are presenting cereals, oil, flour and other bakery products for the Vietnamese market. Confectionery and bakery products can be tasted at the stands of Akond, Volshebnitsa, Karamelia and United Confectioners. In addition, visitors can find biologically active supplements and health products at the stands of GLC Pharmaceuticals and Althea, and food producers can familiarize themselves with technological solutions for food packaging at the Molopak stand.

This is the second year Russian exporters participate in the show within the Made in Russia pavilion. The dynamics of Russian participation in the exhibition reflects the growing supplies of food products from Russia to Vietnam: in the current structure of exports, the main share is occupied by cereals, meat and dairy products, while supplies of fish products and sunflower oil are also growing.

The exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City runs until August 10.
