Prestigious professional competitions in various sectors of the food industry are an integral part of the Prodexpo annual international exhibition held at Expocentre Fairgrounds. This year's exhibition was no exception, despite a difficult year.

On the final day of Prodexpo 2021, an award ceremony for the winners of the Competition for the Best Consumer Properties, organised by Soyuzexpertiza ANO of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with EXPOCENTRE AO, was held.

The aim of the competition is to promote the competitiveness of Russian goods on the domestic and world markets, to popularise the best domestic and foreign products, and to inform consumers and potential customers about them.

The winners were awarded first, second and third degree diplomas "For the Best Consumer Properties" with gold, silver and bronze medals "For Quality". The winners are entered in the register of diploma holders of the competition and the Prodexpo 2021 international exhibition. They also get the right to use the award-winning products for promotional purposes and to label them.

The winners of the industry tasting competition "The Best Product 2021", which is traditionally held by Agroexposervis with the support of Rosselkhoznadzor as part of the Prodexpo exhibition, also received honorary awards today. Grand Prix, gold, silver and bronze medals and diplomas were awarded to the winners in categories covering all segments of the food market. These include bakery and pasta products, meat products, fish and other products from aquatic biological resources, dairy products, fruit and vegetables, wine products and much more. The product samples were assessed by renowned experts of the competition committee.

Previously, Prodexpo 2021 held awards for the winners of the Innovative Product and Choice of Retail Chains Competitions, the ProdExtraPack 2021Competion for the Best Packaging and Label for Foodstuffs, Perfumes, Cosmetics and Beverages, Prodexpo Organic, Taste Experience Competition, Prodexpo Wine & Guide International Competition, and Prodexpo 2021 International Tasting Competition.
