Youth Day finalized the program of the Elektro 2019 international exhibition. It was fully dedicated to the training of industry professionals.

Teams of higher and vocational education institutions from various regions of Russia, which train electrical engineering personnel, took part in the competition with the theme "Towards a Brighter Future." The future specialists demonstrated their knowledge and skills by accomplishing assignments of the ElektroUmnik trivia game and the Uktroti Elektro quest, as well as in the team presentation "Contact!" The organisers noted the substantial expansion of the teams' composition and geography this year.

During the career fair, students had a chance to meet with potential employers, including such industry majors as Rosatom, Inter RAO UES, MOEK, Mosenergo, MOESK, Lukoil-Energoseti, and Transneftenergo.

They also met with top managers of big companies who told their success stories and answered all questions of young specialists.

Qualify of professional training and a positive image of electrical engineering personnel were discussed at the roundtable "Early Personnel Training for Modernizing Energy Industry." The discussion involved pedagogues of professional schools and representatives of electrical engineering enterprises.

According to Elektro project head Linara Sabirova, the organisers will continue the Youth Day tradition at the next year’s edition of Elektro 2020.
