Russian Week of High Technologies 2022 has received a welcome address from Maksut Shadayev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
“The Ministry traditionally supports the Week and sees it as an effective platform for professional dialogue between IT companies, developers and consumers. This year, the Week is taking place under fundamentally new conditions: the digital industry has become the main target of sanctions: supplies have been frozen, and contracts with foreign customers and manufacturers have been suspended”, the minister’s welcome address says.
Maksut Shadayev believes that we need prompt and effective steps to develop Russian technologies, products and solutions. Large companies need to form large-scale orders for domestic developers and launch new projects for citizens, business and government needs.
“In the current situation, we can do a lot to develop our own products and technologies”, the minister notes. “I am positive that Russian Week of High Technologies 2022 will become an important step towards dynamic digital development of Russia”.
Russian Week of High Technologies 2022 will take place at Expocentre Fairgrounds from April 26 to 29 and become a meeting point for professionals for discussion of digital economy development in the new realities. The Week includes the 34th edition of the International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology – Sviaz 2022, the Navitech 2022 showcase of navigation systems, technologies and services, Sviaz 2022 Forum, Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions, the 15th International Navigation Forum, Strategic Session on the Digital Sovereignty – Priorities, Human Resources, Laws.
