“The food processing industry is one of the key sectors of Russia's agriculture industry,” says the minister. “It successfully fulfils the task of providing citizens with a wide range of quality food products and makes a significant contribution to this country's food security. In recent years, the industry has shown dynamic growth, increasing production volumes and expanding the range of products. High investment attractiveness and support from the government create conditions for further development of the food industry, upgrade of existing and creation of new high-tech enterprises.”

“The key results of the development of this industry can be assessed at Prodexpo, which is the largest food and beverage exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe. Every year, the event allows to learn about the latest market innovations, exchange experience, and find business partners. I am positive that this year's exhibition will be held at a high level, and its participants will be able to discuss industry development, food sector growth areas, and other relevant issues,’ writes Oksana Lut.
