A delegation of the Republic of Serbia, headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic, has visited Serbian pavilion at the 28th edition of the Prodexpo International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, and Food Raw Materials.

The Minister was welcomed by Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maksim Fateev, Acting Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO Alexey Vyalkin and First Deputy Director General Nikolay Gusev.

During the meeting, Maksim Fateev informed the Minister about the activities of EXPOCENTRE AO of the Russian CCI system and expressed the wish to intensify trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The Minister was acquainted with the history of cooperation between EXPOCENTRE AO and the Belgrade Fair headed by Danka Selic. The Russian side expressed the hope for an early resumption of business relations with Serbia in the post-pandemic period.

For his part, the Minister supported the desire to intensify relations between Belgrade and Moscow exhibition companies and invited the Russian side to visit Serbia.
