Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO and Chair at the Committee on Exhibition, Fair, and Convention Activity of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, spoke at the opening of the advanced training programme on Modern Tools for Managing Trade Shows and Conventions. It was held by the International Institute of Management of Business Associations (IIMBA) of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of EXPOCENTRE AO and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

In his speech, he stressed the need to introduce such training programmes. “The programme involves a comprehensive and deep dive into the topic. It includes issues of adaptation to new market conditions, project management, and the use of emerging technologies to attract exhibitors and visitors,” said Maxim Fateev. “All this is critical for maintaining competitiveness in the dynamic environment of the trade show industry.”

He thanked Anna Palagina, Rector at the International Institute of Management of Business Associations, for the attention to the topic of congress and exhibition activities. Such training programmes are a key element in promoting exhibition activities among regional offices, Maxim Fateev is sure. The professional development and exchange of experience that takes place here have a direct impact on the development of the regions, helping to attract new exhibitors and investors in exhibition projects.

Maxim Fateev also expressed readiness for cooperation and open dialogue with the programme participants. He spoke about the working group on interaction between EXPOCENTRE and regional CCIs, the purpose of which is to form an effective system of interaction between the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional CCIs and EXPOCENTRE in the interests of promoting goods and services of regional enterprises on domestic and foreign markets.
