The General Meeting of RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs took place in Ekaterinburg at the Ekaterinburg Expo International Exhibition Center.

Maxim Fateev, General Director at EXPOCENTRE AO, was elected RUEF Vice President. The RUEF Executive Director was also elected, and some amendments were made to the union's charter.

Besides, the meeting participants discussed and approved the application to award the RUEF logo to the RENWEX international exhibition. It became the 26^th trade show of EXPOCENTRE to be awarded the RUEF logo.

In addition to the General Meeting, a three-day programme of events in Ekaterinburg includes the 10^th MICE Networking Forum of RUEF and the 2^nd Congress of Regional Congress Bureaus.
