Today at INNOPROM. Central Asia 2022 in Tashkent a collective exposition organised by the Russian Export Center began its work. The exhibition operator is EXPOCENTRE AO.
The Made in Russia brand presents technologies and equipment of 17 Russian enterprises from various regions of Russia: industrial gas filters by Fingo-Complex, separators and tanks for transportation and storage of gas, oil and various chemicals by Hermes-Ural, pipeline transport by Engineering and Production Centre, crushing and screening equipment by Drobmash, precision metal cutting tools by Sverdlovsk Tool Plant, industrial accumulators and batteries from the Velikolukskiy Accumulator Plant "Impulse", products made of wire and ultra-small mesh by Micromesh Technologies and much more.
The Russian stands were visited by an official delegation led by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, and Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov. Director General of REC Veronika Nikishina spoke about developing areas of cooperation and volumes of export from Russia to Uzbekistan with support from REC, and introduced the distinguished guests to participants whose products are most in demand on the Uzbek market. The members of the official delegation visited stands and got acquainted with equipment and tools of Terrafrigo, Drobmash, Sverdlovsk Tool Plant and the Yuzhnouralsky Insulators and Fittings Plant.
The products of the Yuzhnouralsky Insulators and Fittings Plant AO (YuAIZ) are well known in Uzbekistan. Since 2005 the plant has been exporting tempered glass insulators, porcelain pins, rod-support insulators and polymeric insulators, fittings for high-voltage power lines to the republic. Projects implemented with the participation of YuAIZ include the construction of high-voltage lines in Uzbekistan (one of the main investment projects in the country's power industry) and the modernisation of the power supply system of the Uzbek Iron and Steel Plant in 2013. INNOPROM. Central Asia has traditionally become a platform for the company to strengthen and expand cooperation with its Uzbek partners. In 2021, a letter of intent was signed with the National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan. This year, on the first day of the exhibition, a cooperation agreement in the field of industrial cooperation was signed between YuAIZ and Toshelektroapparat.
The work of the Russian stands is going on intensively - a large number of meetings with current and new buyers are planned. Russian exporters held more than 80 meetings on the first day of the exhibition. Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, and Nikolay Gusev, First Deputy Director General, took part in the work of the Russian exposition.
The rapidly developing economies of Uzbekistan and Central Asia offer good prospects and make the region's market attractive to Russian exporters. Russian technologies and equipment are in demand in this market due to their functionality and high quality, favourable pricing policy, flexible delivery terms, consideration of the specifics and needs of local buyers, the availability of service centres, and a number of other factors.
The exhibition INNOPROM. Central Asia 2022 plays an important role in strengthening and expanding the existing Russia-Uzbekistan cooperation and bilateral trade, promoting Russian exports of non-resource high-tech products to the Central Asian market.
