Anton Alikhanov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, has sent his welcome address to the 27th edition of the International Exhibition for Industry and Science – Khimia 2025.

“Khimia was launched in 1965 as part of the unprecedented in its scale and unparalleled in the world project of chemicalisation of the national economy,” says the minister. “At present, our country is setting itself no less complex and ambitious tasks than 60 years ago. A national project to ensure technological leadership called New Materials and Chemistry is now being developed. It envisages a rapid increase in the output of chemical products, the creation of production of new strategically important materials in a very short period of time, the development of domestic applied science, and the strengthening of the industry's employee base.”

The mister is positive that today Khimia will once again serve as a pillar for the development of the chemical industry. It will become a platform for discussing the most relevant issues of development and implementation of the national project, as well as demonstrating innovative products and advanced technologies. The event participants will be able to attract the attention of customers and investors to their enterprises, as well as receive consultations on the possibility of receiving state support.

“ I have no doubt that Khimia 2024 will become a catalyst for new ideas, cooperation and successful projects. I would like to wish all exhibitors and visitors productive work, interesting meetings, and important discoveries,” writes Anton Alikhanov.

Khimia 2024 will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, from 21 through 24 October. This year the show occupies 20,000 square metres to accommodate about 500 exhibitors from Belarus, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkiye and Uzbekistan. Belarus, China and India will have country pavilions.
