The 28th International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry – Agroprodmash 2023 – will open at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Mosocow, on Monday, October 9. The event is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The multisectoral concept of the show will allow professionals to see the products of Russian manufacturers of food equipment and ingredients, as well as the latest developments of the world's leading brands in various segments of the food processing industry.

This year, Agroprodmash welcomes 847 exhibitors (including 620 Russian companies) from 18 countries. The number of exhibitors has increased by 43% compared to last year. The exhibition area has increased by 40% and this year is over 26,000 square metres.

The number of foreign exhibitors is growing. The first place among foreign exhibitors is occupied by China: 117 companies. They are represented in almost all product sectors, including their national pavilion, and present their solutions in meat and milk processing, baking, confectionery production, packaging and weighing equipment, ingredients, etc. Turkiye is second with 41 companies, and the third is Italy with 26 companies.

The show will feature Russian regional group stands and pavilions from Altai, Krasnodar Krai, Omsk, Penza, Tver, Tula, and Yaroslavl Oblasts. The Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod regions are participating at the regional level for the first time. The regional group stands and pavilions will bring together 42 companies and will present equipment for dairy, meat, bakery and confectionery industries, packaging machines and materials, automation equipment, and general-use equipment, etc.

The professional audience shows high interest in the Russian part of Agroprodmash 2023. A number of Russian equipment manufacturers have already announced the implementation of integrated projects to equip and automate entire production facilities. There is no doubt that Agroprodmash 2023 will help to bring to life new projects that will mainly rely on Russian-made equipment.

The show will be accompanied by an extensive conference programme. Leading associations of the Russian food processing industry will hold important events during Agroprodmash 2023 to discuss pressing problems and outline solutions and prospects for further growth.
