On 8 February, EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Union of Food Ingredients Producers (UFIP) and ROSTEST will hold a Practicum on Food Products: Mandatory Requirements, Introduction and Promotion Tools for the Food Market. Turning Barriers into Opportunities. The event will take place within the conference programme of the 30th Anniversary International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, Food Raw Materials Prodexpo 2023, which will be held at Expocentre Fairgrounds on 6-10 February. 

The practicum will be moderated by Tatiana Savenkova, President of UFIP and Director of the Research Institute for Quality, Safety and Technology of Specialised Food Products at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and Nina Moschenskaya, Director General of ROSTEST, Deputy Chair of the standing Committee on Activities of Certification Bodies under the Public Council of the Federal Accreditation Service. 

The speakers will be specialists from ROSTEST and UFIP, as well as representatives from Rospotrebnadzor, the Gorbatov Federal Research Centre for Food Systems, and Nestlé Russia. The experts will share their experience and solutions in the field of conformity assessment and good practice in product circulation. They will talk about how to reduce testing costs, what the right declaration and labelling are, and what modern promotion tools are available on the food market. 

The workshop is for manufacturers and importers of food products, food raw materials and ingredients, tobacco and nicotine-containing products, animal feed, packaging, catering and retailers. 

The event will begin at 10.30 a.m. in the Conference Hall of Pavilion 8 at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
