On 21-23 April 2020 Expocentre Fairgrounds will host the RENWEX 2020 International Exhibition for Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles and the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development.

The exhibition and the forum are held under the slogan “Creating the future of renewable energy together”. The events are aimed to support the development of the Russian renewable energy retail market, promotion of advanced RES technologies and green engineering, implementation of innovative equipment, and demonstration of scientific and technological potential of Russia.

RENWEX 2020 organised by Expocentre AO and running under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be a meeting point for key representatives of business community, government and research centres engaged in the RES field. The trade show has proven to be an effective networking platform for RES customers and manufacturers. In 2019 the participants were 63 companies from nine countries and the number of visitors amounted to more than 3,500 professionals from 42 countries. The RENWEX supporting programme featured 13 events with 120 speakers and more than 2,000 delegates participating.

The RENWEX 2020 product sectors cover such areas as wind power, solar power, hydropower, bioenergy, biogas, and solid biofuel, geothermal power, energy and resource saving technologies, electric transport, and many others.

Special attention at the trade show will be paid to electric transport. Visitors will be offered to view a wide range of electric cars and test them.

The most relevant issues of the industry will be discussed at the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development organised by EUROSOLAR Russia non-profit partnership. The key topics of the Forum are development of the RES retail market, RES statutory regulation, use of RES in energy supply to remote and isolated consumers, use of biofuel and waste management, digitalisation of modern energy, development of electric transport, its related infrastructure, and energy storage systems for industrial customers and households. One day of the Forum will be devoted to the microgeneration issues.

The participants in the exhibition and the forum will be representatives of the government, business community, expert and public organisations, consulting companies and financial institutions as well as mainstream media.
