Conference programme

Mebel’s conference programme will provide new knowledge and up-to-date information on the situation in the industry. Its key topics will be promising markets for furniture manufacturers, ways of increasing sales in the current environment, development of the export potential of Russian enterprises, woodworking and the board industry. Traditionally, a large block of events will be devoted to design.

For the first time Mebel 2021 will feature the Furniture Retail Fest. It is organised jointly with FC Project. At the festival, experts will discuss new opportunities for successful sales. There will be a presentation of the Store of the Future immersive zone. The festival’s aim is to show how global technological advances in the field of retail directly or indirectly influence the development of furniture retail in Russia. Support and development of sales in the current environment is particularly significant, and this theme will be widely represented at Mebel 2021. The festival's events will be attended by top managers from major furniture manufacturers, retailers, franchisees, owners of retail chains, e-commerce representatives, and well-known industry experts.

The Conference on Neuromarketing will reveal how to influence customers via emotions. Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™ will help manufacturers to sell their products via retail chains.

Mebel is one of the main platforms for the development of furniture design in Russia. It presents ideas that are becoming trends. The showcases of exclusive furniture, innovations in furniture fabrics and fittings are organically complemented by workshops and master classes by renowned interior designers. This year's speakers include a truly stellar line-up: Diana Balashova, Kirill Istomin, Elena Teplitskaya, and many others.

Issues of exports and market entry will be discussed at the workshop on furniture export roadmap. I/Z 2022. Its participants will receive specific advice on how to organise sales to four destinations (China, Europe, the neighboring countries, and the USA).

Another landmark event will be the RusMebel 2021 Forum, oriented towards a dialogue between business and the authorities on the development of the furniture industry, the board industry and personnel training.

Other important events include

  • the Conference on Relevant Issues of the Board Industry

  • the master class on how to increase sales WITHOUT making mistakes when working with marketplaces. Top 7 life hacks for furniture makers
