Mir Detstva 2021 is the main trade show and series of conferences in the industry of goods and services for children and teenagers in Russia and the CIS. The show brings together leading Russian and foreign manufacturers and distributors of goods and services for children and promotes safe and affordable products of high quality for Russian children. It is an annual meeting place for leading market experts in the production, promotion, sales and development of the children's industry, including e-commerce, logistics, and SMM. 

For the convenience of exhibitors and B2B visitors (distributors, retail chains, wholesalers), Mir Detstva is held in parallel with the autumn edition of CJF – Child and Junior Fashion. It is a great opportunity to see all new products and trends of children’s goods and clothing under one roof at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

Thanks to the active participation of Russian regional organisations supporting small and medium sized businesses, the participants will include companies from the Udmurt Republic, the Perm and Stavropol krais, and the Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Ivanovo, Kirov, Lipetsk, Moscow, Omsk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tomsk, Ulyanovsk, and Yaroslavl oblasts.

For the first time, the ambassador of the Mir Detstva exhibition is the Space Doctor Cat animated series from Red Carpet Studio. Space Doctor Cat and his friends invite everyone to visit the Mir Detstva planet and guarantee positive emotions and safety. A large team of animation professionals took part in the production of the video.

The show will be complemented by a busy conference programme of Mir Detstva 2021 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2021. Autumn with more than 40 major events. In order to involve as many professionals as possible, the events will take place in both offline and hybrid formats. Attendees will get answers to the most relevant questions about technical regulation, introduction of new tools, promotion and entry into Russian and foreign markets. It will no doubt help them to repair the damage caused by the pandemic and to reach a new level of quality.

The EXPO-Forum on Children's Goods Industry 2021. Revival will open at 11.00 on the first day of the Mir Detstva and CJF shows on 21 September. It will include the Conference on the Impact of Games, Toys, and Visual Content on the Patriotic Upbringing of Children organised by the Expert Council on Culture of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly, and the National Project Support Fund for Educational and Upbringing Initiatives, with support of EXPOCENTRE AO. There will also be five thematic sessions organised by ROSTEST AO, the Russian Quality System (Roskachestvo), and Innovative Center of the Textile and Garment Industry OAO:

The Conference on the Impact of Games, Toys, and Visual Content on the Patriotic Upbringing of Children is held to promote patriotic upbringing of the younger generation, form a culture of play for children and young people, stimulate interest in studying the history of Russia, and develop the creative industry and the children's goods and clothing industry.

The conference will be moderated by Elena Kalgina, member of the Council on Culture of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly, member of the Expert Council on Upbringing of the Russian State Duma Committee on Education and Science, and member of the Board of Trustees of the Victory TV Channel (Channel One Russia). The programme features three sections: the Role of Creative Industries in the Patriotic Upbringing; Educating a Patriot Through Studying History; and Experience of Manufacturers. Products Exhibited at Mir Detstva. Reports will be made by manufacturers and distributors.

The Forum on the Successful Launch of Children's Shops on Marketplaces: Real Cases, Statistics and Forecasts will be organised for the first time by XWAY, which is a major partner of marketplaces, with support of EXPOCENTRE AO. The event will be held from 12.00 to 15.00 on 21 September. The forum’s leading speaker, XWAY CEO Anton Larin, and his colleagues will answer questions about why one product sells while another one does not, how much profit each platform helps to make, how to launch sales on a marketplace quickly and effectively and attract maximum customers. The forum will be concluded with a discussion about Omnichannel Sales of Children's Goods: the Potential of your Business on Marketplaces.

September 21 will be a real SMM and Bloggers Day, during which web marketing experts, market leaders and bloggers with a total audience of more than three million subscribers will talk about all ins and outs of promotion in social media and analyse the accounts of exhibitors (the Developments with Bloggers project).

The three day marathon on Community Management & Social Media in Promotion of Children’s Goods and Clothes will be launched in the CJF Presentation Area (Pavilion No.7, Hall 3) on 21 September. Over three days from 11.00 to 12.00, the participants will cover three relevant topics: Community Management. The Basics of Community Building; Design of Social Media; and Social Media in the Service of Business. A Sales Funnel.  

The marathon’s speakers are Anna Kilimnichenko, managing partner, director of the Internet Advertising Department of OLYMPX, consultant for strategic marketing and web marketing special projects, lecturer at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Svetlana Kostenko, Director at the Fashion Retail and Fashion Industry Competence Development Center at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and Sergey Derkachev, a well-known brand designer. 

The most active participants in the marathon will be awarded certificates for discounted training in the Community Management & Social Media in the Promotion of Children's and Fashion Industries professional development programme at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

The Blogger Day Forum will start at 11.00 on 21 September in the Presentation Area of Forum Pavilion. It is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the OLYMPX Digital Agency. Its key sessions are Promotion of children's shop. Channels. Tools. Efficiency analysis, and Secrets of doing a shoot with children for TikTok. Three stories you can repeat yourself.

As always, valuable prizes await the most active participants of Blogger Day who have interesting questions: development of a social media promotion strategy by experts from the OLYMPX Digital Agency, and strategic sessions on a quick start in TikTok.

The Battle of Bloggers vs Marketing Professionals will be announced at 15.00 and will bring together renowned bloggers and representatives of exhibiting companies.

On 22 September, the First International Digital University will arrange a two-day Business Marathon: An Effective Team: How to Build a Result-Oriented Team for CEOs, business owners and HR managers. Two charismatic and successful speakers will moderate the event: Vladimir Marinovich, strategic business development expert, business angel, business philosopher, shareholder and ex-CEO of GetTaxi, and Sergey Gromov, partner and product director at YavTochke, С24, Lets Course. The programme includes two crash courses: the Team and Business Processes, and Marketing and Sales.

The Association of Children’s Goods Industry Enterprises will organise the 3rd International Conference on the Culture of Play of Today’s Children. It is supported by the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Education, the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Russian Academy of Education, and EXPOCENTRE AO. The event will take place in the Conference Hall of Pavilion No.8 on 23 September.

The conference programme features the Practical Session on the Design of the Play Environment and its Impact on Children, the Practical Session on the Legislative Regulation and Expertise on Games for Children, and the Plenary Session on a Child and Play in an Era of Global Transformation.

The stand of the National Association of Russian Toy Makers/the Association of Children’s Goods Industry Enterprises (Pavilion No.2, Hall 1, Stand 21А50) will have an interactive showcase “Toys of Russia” and an advisory centre for the participants of the children’s industry.

Results of the International Competition of Goods for Children and Teenagers of Soyuzexpertiza ANO will be announced on 24 September.

The most fascinating event of the show is the 21st edition of the Moscow International Festival of Balloons organised by Europa Uno Trade. It is supported by Expocentre AO and the world’s leading manufacturers of balloons, accessories and equipment. It will take place in Hall 1 of Pavilion No.8 from 20 through 24 September. The festival will include the Russia Open Professional Balloon Design Championship, a conference, various workshops and presentations.
