The Session on Foreign Economic Activity of the Industrial Sector. New Reality in the Supply Chain. Reviews of Friendly Markets took place within the conference programme of Neftegaz 2024. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and the Association of Exporters and Importers.
The session was attended by prominent industry experts. They discussed issues related to the logistics of oil and gas products and the specifics of customs clearance.
The event was moderated by Arthur Leer, Vice-President and Chair at the Legal Committee at the Association of Exporters and Importers. According to Arthur Leer, foreign economic activity is one of the most important areas. It is true especially now in the conditions of severe economic sanctions from unfriendly countries. Currently, the development of favourable relations with our foreign partners is a priority task for increasing the export and import potential of the Russian Federation.
Natalia Ivanova, Advisor to the President of the Moscow Association of Entrepreneurs, spoke about new transit corridors for the oil and gas industry and Russia's role in the new logistics system. In addition, the speaker presented the planned volumes of cargo delivered by domestic companies along the Eurasian transport corridors.
Christina Tantsyura, Chair at the UAE and Gulf States Relations Committee of the Association of Exporters and Importers, spoke about opportunities for Russian business in Saudi Arabia. According to Christina Tantsyura, relations are developing very actively in all areas. There are some difficulties with payments and indirect sanctions, but the UAE offers great opportunities for Russian representatives of the oil and gas industry to import and export. However, the specifics of the local market should be borne in mind.
Anastasia Sayanok, Chair at the Vietnam Relations Committee of the Association of Exporters and Importers, spoke about trade and economic relations with Vietnam in the current realities. The speaker gave a brief overview of Vietnam's oil and gas industry, backing it up with facts testifying to the investment attractiveness of the country's economy.
