The Wood Housing Association, partner of the Salon of Wooden House Construction within Russian Construction Week, will hold an online conference Prospects and Capabilities of Modern Wooden Construction on 5 June 2020.

The event gives industry professionals a unique opportunity to network online with their colleagues from the Austrian Woschitz Group, developers of the 84 meters high wooden HoHo Tower Wien.   

The key speaker will be Christoph Bauer, dipl. eng, PhD in Engineering Science, Head of R&D.

During the conference, the experts of Woschitz Group will talk about all stages and specifics of the project

– the process and time limits of getting relevant permissions from the regulating authorities,

– research of fire safety in this type of buildings,

– why only CLT panels with melamine glues were used,

– in what cases the wood was sewn inside, and what for,

– facade technical solutions,

– sound insulation of CLT between flats, offices, etc. 

Several Russian experts will also share their views, including Aleksandr Pogoreltsev, Head of the Wooden Structures Laboratory of the Kucherenko Central Research Institute of Construction.
