The Interfabric 2020. Autumn international exhibition has opened another autumn exhibition season at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

The exhibition is organised by the Russian Union of Textile Industry Enterprises with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Russian Export Center.

At the official opening ceremony of Interfabric 2020. Autumn State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov has welcomed the participants and organisers of the exhibition. He noted that the light industry gets constant support of the country’s government, and has shown positive results during 7 months of this year. The industry timely shifted to production of goods necessary in the conditions of pandemic which helped our medicine and garment industry itself, Deputy Minister said and wished good work to participants in the first exhibition opened after the pandemic.

“The opening of the Interfabric exhibition is a significant event for the whole country”, Sergey Katyrin, President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said. “It indicates that exhibition activities can and should be carried out all over the country, of course in compliance with all requirements of Rospotrebnadzor”. According to President of the Russian CCI, the Interfabric exhibition itself is of great importance because it has shown that not every exhibition in modern conditions can be held online.

Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO Sergey Bednov called the opening of Interfabric 2020. Autumn a historical event for the exhibition industry. “This is the first exhibition held after the removal of restrictions on exhibition activities. All of us were waiting for the opening of a new exhibition season in Moscow and in all regions”, Mr. Bednov said. He also noted the scale and saturation of the Interfabric 2020 exhibition and thanked exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition which has opened the new exhibition season at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

Andrey Razbrodin, President of the Russian Union of Textile Industry Enterprises, thanked EXPOCENTRE AO for the great work on the preparation of the exhibition and expressed confidence that its participants will be satisfied with the results and it will be the next stage of the industry progress.

The Interfabric 2020 participants were also greeted by Viktor Cherepov, Executive Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Alexandra Kaloshina, Founder of Solstudio Textile Group.

At the Interfabric 2020 exhibition in Pavilion No. 1, EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, the exhibition space of 2800 sq. m. net showcases the products of 150 leading manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics, textile materials, knitted fabrics, accessories, fittings, home, technical, medical textiles and nonwovens.

Interfabric 2020. Autumn is held in full compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological standards and recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) for exhibition and convention activities.

Access to the exhibition is possible only through Southern Entrance (from Krasnopresnenskaya naberezhnaya) after the obligatory registration. The exhibition is open on September 15-16 from 10:00 to 18:00, on September 17 -from 10:00 to 16:00.
