Seventeen Russian enterprises will take part in the Russian-Tajik Field Day, a agricultural machinery exhibition to be held outdoors at the Kohi Borbad center in Dushanbe on October 11–12.

The Russian-Tajik Field Day will be a major agro-industrial event in Tajikistan. The exhibition is organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Russia, the Russian trade mission to Tajikistan, and the Rosspetsmash Association. EXPOCENTRE AO serves as the exhibition operator.

Such majors as Rostselmash, the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (Kirovets), the Volga Combine Plant (Agromash), Melinvest, Aeromech NPF, KamAZ, the Noginsk Fuel Equipment Plant (NZTA), Tractor LLC (Uralets), the Bonum and FoxTank Motors machine building plants and others will be representing Russia at the show.

Exhibits will be displayed on an area exceeding 1,000 square meters. Visitors will be able to see new Russian products and popular agricultural vehicles: a Vector 410 grain harvester with a header, a serial Kirovets tractor in a new modification, an Agromash 90TG caterpillar tractor, an Uralets mini-tractor for agricultural work, a new FoxTank Agro flatbed grain carrier, a KamAZ refrigerator truck, a SAD-4 aerodynamic grain separator, engines for agricultural vehicles, industrial scales and much more.

The government of Tajikistan attaches great significance to the event and provides substantial assistance. The Tajik presidential chief of staff’s order No. 2348 (29) dated 22.08.2021 tasked all national ministries and agencies with supporting the exhibition. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan is a co-organizer of the show. All leading agricultural producers, agricultural machinery importers and dealers, leasing companies, farmers and entrepreneurs of Tajikistan have been invited to visit and participate in the exhibition.

The two-day Russian-Tajik Field Day will demonstrate the capacity of Russian machine builders that could be used by Tajik farmers to achieve their targets. It will familiarize Tajik farmers and collective farms with modern Russian hardware and agricultural technologies based on the specifics of local climate and agricultural conditions and will invite them to meet and discuss technical specifications and to receive profitable offers.

The exhibition will be supplemented with a packed conference program involving representatives of ministries, agencies, industry associations, leasing companies, and banks of both countries. The discussions will center on the development of Russian-Tajik cooperation in agriculture, the modernization of the Tajik fleet of agricultural vehicles, the participation of Russian manufacturers in leasing programs and state support to Tajik farmers and collective farms, etc.
