The 25th edition of the Russian Forum on Circulation of Medical Products in Russia and the EEU has opened within Russian Health Care Week. The forum is organised by Imperia KVK and Expocentre AO.

In his welcome address General Director of Imperia KVK Andrey Podlesnov has noted that the sector of circulation of medical products is rapidly developing. Manufacturers of five countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan Kyrgyzstan and Russia) will work according to the unified regulations of the Union starting from 2022. This is an important and long awaited change for the Russian and EEU markets which will help to facilitate the process of medical products registration. The forum will offer a special session with participation of representatives of regulatory authorities of these countries.

The plenary session was devoted to the regulations of the circulation of medical products, innovative projects of the Russian Ministry of Health Care related to improvement of production of medical products, including by defense industry enterprises, regulation of procurement of medical products for state and municipal needs and other important issues. It was moderated by Deputy Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Supply and Regulation of Circulation of Medical Products of the Russian Ministry of Health Care Konstantin Binko. He encouraged manufacturers to start paying closer attention to the procedure of medical products registration adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The forum includes the Centre for Purchasing Medical ProductsТМ for face-to-face talks of suppliers and purchasers representing state-run medical and health care organisations, private clinics and pharmacy chains. It also helps to expand partnerships at the procurement planning stage.
