The 2^nd MedTravelFest International Festival of Active Lifestyle and Health opened within the 3^rd edition of MedTravelExpo. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The festival’s diverse events and activities attracts a lot of visitors who are choosing an active, long and busy life as well as resort industry professionals, doctors, tour operators and investors.

The festival shows the best achievements in medicine, resort treatment, sports science and unique wellness techniques. Its participants are well-known doctors, athletes, leading Russian and foreign massage therapists, specialists in spas and banyas, preventive treatment, well-known bloggers, representatives of resorts, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and wellness centres, insurance companies and mass media.  

On the first day of MedTravelFest, the BanyaWorld 2019 forum was held by the National Russian Bath Union with support of Expocentre AO.  

The International Centre for Training and Professional Development of Massage Therapists organised a series of events about effective methods of spinal rehabilitation, point massage, orthobiodynamics and other massage techniques.

Experienced doctors talked about modern methods of physiotherapy at home and a current approach to prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Everybody could take part in Nordic walking classes. A panel of doctors of the Time for the Right Treatment programme closed the first day of the festival.
