The 24th International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber - Interplastica 2022 opened today at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds after a two-year break. The organisers, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH (Germany) and Messe Düsseldorf Moscow OOO (Russia), believe that there is a steady growth of interest in modern machinery, production equipment and high-tech materials in Russia. That is why at each trade fair, the exhibitors offer a whole portfolio of solutions specially developed and adapted to the realities of the Russian market.

Traditionally, numerous Russian and foreign companies take part in the exhibition, ready to present innovative products, technologies and solutions in the plastics and rubber industries. At Interplastica 2022 visitors and participants can get the latest information about trends in the polymer and allied industries. All visitors have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the leading companies of the polymer industry, exchange useful contacts with professionals, get a comprehensive solution for their needs, see the operation of the specialised equipment in action and participate in the conference programmes.

The debut Recycling Solutions project was launched at Interplastica 2020 and was received by both participants and visitors with great interest. Recycling Solutions is a symbiosis of an exhibition and a conference programme, where experience is exchanged between leading Russian and international companies, manufacturers of high-tech solutions for waste management, regional operators, recyclers, representatives of government agencies, in order to create a fundamentally new and efficient system for waste management in Russia.

As part of the conference programme, speakers from leading companies will discuss the status and prospects of the waste management segment in Russia, new capacities and state-of-the-art recycling technologies, as well as the current issue of recycling personal protective and medical waste.

Important questions about the existence and development of the polymer industry will also be raised as part of the Polymer Plaza conference programme, which has already become an important part of the Interplastica exhibition. Speakers reveal to the audience the most relevant information regarding new polymer production projects in Russia and the CIS countries, expansion of the branded product range and issues of foreign trade operations.

Another programme implemented within the framework of the fair will be the international conference Smart Molding Technology, organised by the long-standing partner of the fair - Plastics magazine. The Smart Molding conference will become an information platform for business communication of plastics molding professionals.

The Interplastica 2022 exhibition will last until 28 January and, according to the organisers, will become an indispensable platform for high-quality business networking of industry professionals.
