Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions will take place within Russian Week of High Technologies 2021 on June 16 in Conference Hall of Pavilion No.8 at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The forum opens by the Plenary Session on Information Technologies: from Digital Sovereignty to Building Ecosystems. The discussion will be attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Competence Center of Import Substitution in the ICT Sector, Russian Software Products Association “Russian Software”, and other notable experts. They will discuss a comprehensive strategy for the development of the IT industry in Russia, analyse state support measures, assess the pace of the country's digital transformation, and discuss the role of digital sovereignty. The plenary session will be moderated by Vladimir Kononov, Member of the State Duma, and Chairman of the NTI Expo (Research-Technology-Innovations Expo) Organising Committee.

Special attention of the participants in the Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions will be drawn to the topic of compatibility and synchronisation of the Russian software and hardware. The key session “Russian Software and Hardware: on the Road to the Country's Technological Independence” will be devoted to this important area of the industry development. It is traditionally organised by the Russian Software Products Association “Russian Software” and the Competence Center of Import Substitution in the ICT Sector. The moderators are Ilya Massukh, Director of CCIT, and Renat Lashin, Executive Director of the Russian Software Association.

The session participants will present ready-made stacks of the Russian software and hardware products, and talk about how the bundling of software and hardware affects the country's technological independence. In addition, the session will include a discussion among the IT industry experts on the development of an ecosystem of compatible Russian solutions.

Representatives of the Computer Science Consortium and the Association of Russian Electronics Developers and Manufacturers have been invited to talk about the achievements, problems and opportunities of the Russian computer hardware market.

An overview of technological import-independent stacks will be presented by top managers of software companies, members of the Russian Software Association.
