He stressed that Uzbekistan has a huge potential for agricultural development in terms of application of modern technologies and in terms of entering export markets with high quality agricultural products. In addition to exporting finished agricultural products, Uzbekistan sees the prospect of entering other countries and organising joint production of agricultural products. In conclusion, Nodir Otazhonov addressed to the panel participants: "We are open for the dialogue, for specific proposals from REC in implementation of financing of deals. We should jointly develop the most effective schemes of project financing and, if possible, reduce the period of their consideration, so that it would not take more than three months".

Speaking at the panel, Botur Yusupov, Deputy General Director of Uzbek Leasing, told about implemented projects to finance meat and dairy product processing equipment, transportation of finished products, machinery for agricultural clusters, including tractors, seeders and other attached equipment. "We can finance large projects with the help of EXIAR, with which we have established cooperation," he said.

Andrey Kolesnikov, Director of Sales to Asian Markets at Rostselmash, shared the company's experience in entering the Uzbek market and in localising production of the most popular machinery models in the country. His presentation raised many questions from the Russian participants, who have plans to conquer the Uzbek market.
